EV Tap is not connecting to home WiFi

Check if signal strength is strong enough to reach the EV Tap

Use your smartphone to search for your home WiFi signal while standing near the EV Tap

Confirm that a 2.4 GHz WiFi channel is being used

EV-Tap is only able to connect to a 2.4 GHz signal, you can typically check whether your WiFi is 4 GHz, 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz by looking at the router

Reset home router and try again

Double check to see if your router is connected and reset it, or call your Internet's service provider to see if your connection has had a disruption
